heard the new eyepiece is great

Heard from Chris that the new 70mm eyepiece in the DDO 74 worked well. "Looks great!" he said.

I was glad to hear that.

The antique "Visitor Eyepiece" was difficult to use, with peculiar eye relief, a narrow true field of view, with a small field stop. This will make for a much better experience for the general public.

The old one can go into a display case...
