Looks like it is official. Eric posted a note on Facebook regarding the New Eyes Old Skies store. The Richmond Hill shop is expected to open around 30 April 2013.

I've been watching the web site for about a week. Noticed the slide deck appearing on the home page today. Some good advice for the telescope shopper. Already a good amount of content on their Facebook page.

That's weird. 1390 Major Mackenzie Dr West is between Bathurst and Yonge... I thought they said they'd be near the DDO... And doesn't Leslie Centre suggest near Leslie Street? So, that'd be Major Mac East! The Leslie Centre, according to Google Maps, is around number 1494...
It will be really good to have another astronomy shop in the GTA.
