I don't know why I never thought of this before but it suddenly occurred to me, while looking for reviews of the Meade LightSwitch technology, that Weasner's ETX site might have notes on the secondary mirror problem I've seen in Charles's little Mak. In fact, I found an old article on the problem, referred to as baffle creep. Good to know it is fixable...
