Dark blue in a lot of CSCs. Green in the CO. Moon and stars in EC. It was lookin' good. Through midnight.

My synopsis: 4 degrees from dew point; windy, gusty but diminishing; -7 with wind chill; Monday morning sunny; might leave 'scope out.

CO:

Lots of green, through to morning, zero cloud, basically, wind 13 or more through evening, "chance of frost" through evening, humidity below 60, pressure slowly dropping through to morning.

GTS:

Tuned it. Discovered the seeing and trans filters don't work! Cold! Low humidity, cloud no more than 15%, Moon surpasses 75%.

Astrospheric:

Cloud - dark blue, trans - medium blue improving slight after midnight, seeing - below average, damn it! Air temp separated from dew point.

AWC:

Could see the ground early on - in visible light, no nearby cloud. Look how warm those lakes are!

Overall? Clear but not great seeing.

It was 3½ days to opposition.

Went in red light mode.
