took in the Sun (Blue Mountains)

We did some solar observing after Steve configured the Tele Vue 101 for hydrogen alpha. I affixed the choked white light filter to the Celestron 14.

Not a lot of sunspots. But we enjoyed the nice prominences. There was one big one that looked like "the bat signal." I noted a huge, long filament near the centre. Wow. Very pleasing views.

I helped Bev so she could take some photos.
