Frank sent a note to the RASC Toronto Centre Forum in the "more observation sessions (GMF/LS) this week" thread. He wished everyone clear skies. But then he said, "You may have noticed [slightly] decreasing transparency... caused by smoke aloft." Dang.

Holy. Everything on fire in the middle states is blowing straight up here! That's why the faint fuzzies have been extra faint and very fuzzy.
