Rained heavily in the early afternoon. Very gusty winds at times. Not surprising given the high temperatures. Had to close the tent.
Inspected the portable observatory and found a small pool in the south-east end. Threw a beach towel down. Found drops of water on the dew shield. Otherwise, everything was fine.
Will this storm have "cleared out" the air, removing particulates, improving transparency?
I assumed the humidity would be bad though...
