one more double (Bradford)

Slewed to HR 7048 in Cauda. A RASC suggestion.
Instrument: Celestron 8-inch SCT
Mount: Vixen Super Polaris
Method: slewing and tracking with IDEA GoToStar
1:22. New batteries in the Sony.

Astonishingly tight in the baader eyepiece. Touching. I was getting a black line. Both blue-white. Angle: roughly east-west, slightly clockwise, maybe 10 degrees. ST3P said 2.5" apart. The brighter one was to the west. Awesome. Maybe the east star was orange, in the Pentax.

Spotted another double near the edge of the field.

Didn't feel like doing anything else...

Did a graceful shutdown.

Remembered to note the park position...

1:31. Not quite 90°. A bit to the west. Not 92, slightly west, so 88°. Maybe 88.25. [ed: Where's a Vernier when you need one?]

Closed the observatory. Better at closing the roof flaps.
