As the clouds moved in, we didn't feel we had to keep our night vision.

We had yet to celebrate Canada Day with fireworks. I wanted to have some fun writing with light. Lora and Phil had brought super long sparklers. Steve put his Canon DSLR into long-exposure mode, perched it on the picnic table on the Observing Pad, and gave us count downs. Kiron wrote our name.



I tried one backward. It came out pretty good.



Then we did a double! Sharmin and Phil just winged it. Nice!



That was fun.

And we didn't burn down any buildings.
