resolved IP conflicts

It didn't register earlier but I had not been able to connect to the interwebs on the Dell laptop computer. After logging Steve out, I discovered that the IP configuration was wrong. It was configured to a static address and this address was a reserved one on my CAO IP plan. How'd that happen? I reconfigured it for DHCP and it started working correctly. Sheesh.
