It has been said, one should move house every 10 or so years. I was told that a lot over the last 3 months. It is suggested as it forces one to re-examine the stuff we keep. And helps us shed the old junk we don't care about anymore.In a box marked "Sci-Fi magazines," I found an old copy of Astronomy magazine. August 1981. Wow.
I probably bought it at the time because of the cover story: the launch of the Space Shuttle. STS-1. The first one! Pretty amazing. It's odd too, that I find it now, as the NASA shuttle program is winding down. The alpha and the omega.
It's funny looking at the old telescope ads.
