Finished the instalation of the gauge and test button into the cigarette lighter adapter box. Crowded inside. Barely room for the fuse.
Used a 1½" (38mm) hole saw for the main part of the gauge. Drilled 4 holes with a 3/32" bit for the mounting screws. Tightened down the gauge.
With a ½" spade bit, drilled a hole for the momentary on/closed button. Secured it.
Soldered up some 22 gauge wire for the testing circuit.
Then jammed everything in the project box.
It works!
Calibrated the gauge.
