quick work

While I'm waiting for client paperwork, had a real quick go at the canted galaxy NGC 3521 in LRGB.

Luminance, red, green, blue, 300 seconds each. North is down; east is right. FITS Liberator, Photoshop.

Some very dark lanes in the foreground. Very mottled disc in the foreground. Looks like there are some big nebulae! Beyond the south edge of galaxy I see the hints of a big extended arm... Lumpy.
