A curious way to ask the question. To view it naked eye, you simply needed clear skies. Wouldn't matter where one was, per se...
To view it for the longest possible time? I reminded her that we've have excellent sight lines, from the moment it started to the Sun setting on the western horizon, over the Niagara Escarpment. So, unless she could find a location in the GTA that offered unobstructed views to the west horizon, we'd be better. Than most locations.
The big question mark would be the weather. I said that some of us were already considering "chasing" the weather...
