buoyed by a member

Heard from a RASC member while I was discussing the RASC national observing programs, including our newest one. They said,

I was excited to see the new Double Star Program, and I started on it this spring as I love doubles too.  Nothing beats a great night at a dark site but those opportunities are much too infrequent (for most of us), so to be able to observe many other interesting objects from the convenience of my back yard, and virtually all month long, and learn about them while doing it, it’s absolutely fantastic.

Wow. That's a boost.
