declined the offer

Ian W offered that I could use his rig. Very nice. But that would require some comfort in MaxIm DL to capture images and follow a guide star.

I didn't think I was up for it. He suggested I go through the tutorial but I had a busy day ahead. And I was kinda on duty. He wrote up some quick reference "crib" notes and sent them along. Unfortunately I only did part of the tutorial and did not find time to read his notes. I said I thought I'd feel better after a personal tutorial. We planned to do so on Sunday. OK.

And that meant we would repeat the process from Friday night.
