As we chatted and laughed and joked at our tents, Elaine spotted something bright in the north-west sky, moving east. Hey. The International Space Station. I suddenly remembered I had not programmed any ISS reminders with alarms.
Then she spotted something following it. A fainter object. But definitely there, along the same path, at the same speed. I said I knew there was some activity going on, a rocket heading up, around now. I didn't know the deets...
Check my online calendar. It was the Japan agency's HTV transport vehicle vehicle. It had launched today! Cool!
I hadn't seen a "double" pass for a long time.
Texted Katrina. She and Andy had seen it too. Yeh!
