I just crunched the numbers of the new eyepiece...
The Tele Vue 9mm magnifies twice as much as the Meade 18mm. No surprise there.
But with an 82° Apparent Field of View, it offers the same True Field of View. Slightly more even! The Meade: 0.36; the TV: 0.37.
This means I don't need to rush and make a new template for my star charts... The circle that represents the Meade I can use for the Tele Vue.

Are you sure about the Meade 18mm TFOV? I assume it's a 50° AFOV which would make it closer to 0.46° TFOV (assuming your scope has a FL of 2030 mm).
It is my understanding that orthoscopic or Abbe ocular lenses offer 40 to 45 degree fields... That's what wikipedia says!
