The point-and-shoot camera is acting a little strange. I can turn it on and press the green Play button to view photos. Everything seems to work fine. Forward and backward works. And the zoom out function. I can see 4 photos, 9, and 100! Zoom in works fine. But when I press the DISP button, which would normally change the display, removing meta data, or switch to the sorted-by-date view, the camera hangs! Screen goes dark, lens is still stuck out (unprotected), no response from buttons, no beeps. A few seconds latter, it shuts down. With the lens still out.
Weird.
Corrupted memory card?
