A member told me about the SpaceX explosion at Cape Canaveral. What?! Oh no.
They were surprised I didn't know about it. I knew there was a launch coming up [ed: Saturday] but I had not been following closely.

Read the SpaceFlight Now article. The rocket blew up on pad 40 during an exercise. The Amos 6 satellite was destroyed. Very strange. What a shame.
