imaged fireflies to the west

Tried for fireflies again tonight. They didn't seem as active though... Aimed to the west this time.

10:35 PM, Thursday 30 June 2016.

I used the setting suggested in an article. Wide open with the fish eye. Focused on infinity, to the hard stop. ISO 200. 15 seconds.

1:06 AM, Friday 1 July 2016. As we lost the sky, I grabbed the rig and shot darks.

I found that the intervalometer was losing its settings. I had noted this before, a few weeks back, but it hadn't really registered. This time, it was obvious. I had bonked the unit as I moved the tripod.

In the kitchen, I reviewed pictures. Lots and lots of pictures.

7787 darks end

Not a lot of bugs...
