imaged the Crescent (Halifax)

The BGO robot imaged NGC 6888 for me. A diffuse nebula in Cygnus. The Crescent Nebula. aka Caldwell 27. One of the RASC Finest NGCs.

Luminance only, 60 seconds subexposures, 10 stacked shots. FITS Liberator, GIMP. North is up; left is east.

Got more data on evening of July 3.

There's a known double star on the top edge of the nebula: HD 192182. Nice pair, a few magnitudes different in brightness, pleasingly tight.
