limited observing (River Place Park)

Got some good observing in. The skies were not great unfortunately. But still. Overall, good.
Instrument: Celestron 8-inch SCT
Mount: Vixen Super Polaris
Method: Go To
Lots of meteors.

Showed Tony some double stars. Albireo, of course. γ (gamma) Delphinus. Then we went for δ (delta) Cephei. Took me a while to find it.

The Vixen Super Polaris mount, with the GoToStar on-board, started acting up. Once again with the gear hop problem I had seen before. It worsened as the night went on. So it became impossible to use the 'scope.

With Katrina and Tony, viewed Neptune in Cotterell's big Dobsonian. Grabbed the ASUS to verify Triton's position and figure out if the other nearby points were just stars.

Was very upset when I crawled into the tent. Had not accomplished much. Mount not working right. Multiple white light issues. One that reached uncomfortable levels. Fearing who it was. And, anxious about tomorrow.

Put my earplugs in and passed out.
