learned of log-on issues

Returning from the Rec Hall building, with a jug of water, I took "the high road," the temporary road marked along the south-east side of the grounds, for cars to travel to-and-fro. Bumped into Andy. We briefly caught up. We stopped at Katrina's camper.

Hello! Katrina was in her van with Mac laptop. She was trying to make a booking for the CAO. Reported trouble logging into the RASC Toronto Centre web site. She didn't know her national site credentials—important now with a single sign on. Then got a weird error message from the national site when she tried to reset.

Your link is outdated. To reset your password you must e-mail yourself again.

When she called national office, the office assistant didn't know Toronto was using SSO. Weird. Why hadn't the back office let the front office know?! Quite a lot of trouble. She was a little irked. Apologised that I couldn't help. But said I could follow up... I felt for her. But I also wondered what this meant for the less tech-savvy users.

The three of us discussed, tentatively, visiting Neustadt. For a tour. And to sample the wares...
