Skies were looking great. No clouds!
Caught the Moon and Venus over the Rec Hall building after the keynote talk.
Katrina, Elaine, Tony, and I did a bunch of observing together. That was a lot of fun.
Performed the mount alignment. The Dec. motor on the seemed to be working fine. Woo hoo! Back in business!
Viewed Saturn as it set.
Could not see comet S1 LINEAR. Again!
Comet Lemmon was easy to see. We enjoyed that.
The seeing was very good. Probably the relatively cool day time temp. and very low night temp. We went single digit, down to 9.
Katrina did another walkabout.
I tried to spot NGC 7027. But was falling asleep. Damn. Just tired from the succession of days, the awkward early starts, the late-late nights, the various stresses and anxieties. When the battery died on the netbook, I threw in the towel.
At least the old Vixen mount with crazy GoToStar system worked properly tonight.
