I finally got around to making the Field of View indicators in TheSky6 for my account up at the CAO.
It is easy to do in TheSky6. You enter your telescope particulars. Actually, you choose the 'scope from a built-in list. Quick and easy. Then you add your eyepieces from a predefined list. I only needed to create one from scratch. For the GBO laptop, that's 2 'scopes and 11 eyepieces. The final step is to let TheSky6 create the combinations. Boom. Done.
I verified the magnification values matched my quick reference chart. Bang on.
I fiddled with the wording to keep 'em brief.
I found a tip note on the Software Bisque web site for creating a Telrad. I added that too.
Phil pointed out that we don't have a Tele Vue NP 101 but rather, simply, a Tele Vue 101. Oh. OK.
