My condolences to the Perry family.
Steve Perry was killed 10 days ago at the Vale mine near Sudbury. The fourth fatality in 7 months.
Vale shut down all 5 of its operating mines in the Sudbury area. They reopened yesterday so to initiate safety inspections.
The SNO LAB is a couple of kilometres away and 300 metres above the mine.
