After the DDO planning meeting, I returned to the Meade 90mm.
With paper, I made a template for an adapter to serve as an interface between the tiny ETX finder scope and a DSLR camera right-angle finder. It helped verify alignment and spacing. Through experimentation, I determined that a clam-shell two-piece design would work nicely.
From the paper template, I made the two-piece holder out of thin cardboard. I would use elastic bands to hold the pieces together.
All this is to make the ETX easier to use. The finder as it is is basically useless.
