noted the DDO location

I logged in with my old account to the Internet Movie Database. Headed to the The Umbrella Academy series and found the appropriate episode, number 6, entitled The Day That Wasn't. I submitted the following.

The David Dunlap Observatory (DDO) in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada is featured prominently in episode 6.  An overhead shot shows the observatory dome proper.  Five is lead to the Commission's headquarters which is in fact the Administrative building of the DDO.  The ground level lobby and staircase is shown.  There are various shots in the ground level and upper hallways of the admin building.  The Handler of the Commission has an office which is in fact the library in the admin building of the DDO.

We'll see what happens. I enjoyed the other Toronto sights.
