NOVA coordination

I was given the OK to coordinate and run the next RASC Toronto Centre NOVA course.

The NOVA course is also known as New Observers to Visual Astronomy.

It was arranged by Leslie in the past but she has made noises about not being interested in doing it. In fact, she wondered out loud if it was worth doing.

I think so. I'm happy to carry the torch.

Glad that you're going to carry it on, Blake. I don't agree that it is not worth doing, since it has been such a hit with the OSC folks.

Whether we get any members out of it is another thing, but the RASC is absolutely fulfilling its mandate while teaching folks about astronomy.

So cool that you're jumping right in to the education side of things.
