I was really proud of the work we accomplished over the work party weekend. A great crew. Very energetic. Hard working. Motivated. Made me and Tony look good.

For the Carr Astronomical Observatory spring work party, we accomplished a lot. Even though I had made a huge list, we crossed a lot of items...

• replaced the south screen door
• elevated and secured the GBO router and antenna
• tested and inspected all fire and safety gear
• moved the rocks and boulders near MODL 5 to ease lawn cutting
• weather-sealed the picnic tables
• installed cup hooks in supervisor closet for our keys
• installed a large upstairs hall vent to improve flow to furnace
• set up and checked Leslie's BBQ; retired the damaged propane BBQ to garage
• packaged and moved the A/C furnace A-frame coil to garage
• installed tool hooks and hangers in garage
• assembled the new garden wagon with pneumatic tires
• received replacement computer for living room
• took garbage and junk to dump
• dusted the walls and ceiling and artwork
• steam-cleaned the carpets in the house
• removed the storm windows
• inspected the east window for regular service
• removed the north storm door 
• tuned-up ride-on lawn mower, including oil change, oil filter change, air filter inspection
• refurbished the picnic tables placed about property
• installed (custom red) LED solar lights
• installed (repaired) canopy under pergola; built and installed a support post
• de-energised the generator battery blanket circuit
• inspected the furnace filter
• performed grounds maintenance, thoroughly, including removing weeds from Observing Pad, GBO patio, south walk to the ramp, and the Great Room walk-out
• cleaned stairs and downstairs walls of scuffs
• from library, removed the old brown couch; installed new couch
• power-washed deck and ramp along the north
• assembled and filled the banker boxes
• moved file cabinet in Orion room to library
• moved library desk to improve utility
• installed rough-in wiring along west wall of garage, for exterior outlets, and future lockers
• installed breakers in garage panel
• install GFCI outlets on garage exterior
• moved outlet for router / switch; then moved router / switch
• cupboards removed from Orion room
• assembled mattress pen partition 
• installed clothes line
• removed old tree stump near BAO; set aside to dry
