researching telescope heaters

I printed an article from Sky & Telescope magazine web site. It describes a do-it-yourself project for building a dew heater for an 8" SCT and its accessories with a 12 volt source. I'm very interested in building more of these so to keep the dew off my eyepieces and the finder scope in the summer viewing sessions.
